Upload Videos Longer Than 15 Minutes on YouTube

YouTube is definitely the #1 video sharing website on the Internet. YouTube, by default, doesn’t allow you to upload videos that exceed 15 minutes in length. Wonder, how some people upload several hours of videos on YouTube? That can be possible with you too, if your YouTube account is validated with your mobile phone number.
Doing so will let you upload videos to a maximum of 12 hours in length or 20 GB in size. Isn’t it cool!
How to Upload Videos Longer Than 15 Minutes on YouTube?
  1. Log-in to YouTube account.
  2. Click “Upload”.
  3. You’ll now see a phrase that says “Upload HD videos in various formats up to 15 minutes. Increase your limit”.
  4. Click on the link that says “Increase your limit”.
5.A new account verification window will appear where you’ll need to select your country and then enter your mobile number. Click on “Submit”. You’ll receive a verification code on your mobile.
6.Simply, enter the verification code in the second step of “Account verification” window and click “Verify”.

That’s it! You’ll now be able to upload videos more than 1 hour in duration on YouTube.
Note: If you’re uploading a video that was previously rejected for being too long, simply go to “My Videos” and delete the old video before uploading it again.
